San Miguel Brewery, Inc. – Davao Brewery supported Balik Baterya's Project LEAP and a MOU signing took place in their plant at Bgy. Darong, Davao del Sur on January 9, 2009.

Last year, San Miguel Davao Brewery joined DENR's Ecowatch Program, which gauges a company's compliance to the pollution prevention and control in hazardous waste in air and water systems. They achieved a "green" rating that meant 'improved standard in industrial practices.' This year, they aim to attain "silver", indicating 'beyond legal requirements in environmental practices.'
San Miguel Davao Brewery also strongly advocates education with their provision of science laboratory equipment to public schools. They also have health projects that involve running a barangay health center and conducting optical and dental missions.
