Last July 5, PEZA- Mactan Economic Zone, with Administrator Sansaluna Pinagayao, hosted a recognition event for its Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program supporters. Seventeen (17) locators were given plaques of recognition whose pooled donations reached already almost P1M.
Its 17 locators honored were Accuform, Inc., Cebu Chip Connection, Cebu Iwakami Corp., Cebu Logitem, Inc., Euro CB (Phils.), Inc., Halsangz Plating Cebu Corp., HPOI Corporation, Ina Micro Opto Corp., KGS Phils. Corp., Lexmark International Phils., Inc., MSM Cebu, Inc., Olympus Optical Products Phils., Inc., Pacific Aeronautical, Inc., Philippines Light-Leather, Inc., Philippine Tonan Corporation, Taiyo Yuden Phils., Inc. and Toa Kiko Cebu Corporation.
After the recognition event, turnover of learning resource centers were held last July 6 and 9. The turnover events were participated in by PEZA-MEZ employees, headed by Division Chief of Engineering and CSR Team Leader Rolando Patalinjug, and representatives from the donor locators.
The initial 10 beneficiary schools are Babag I ES, Kalawisan ES, Gun-ob ES, Mactan Air Base ES, Pusok ES, Ibo ES, Soong ES, Bangkal ES, Pajac ES all in Lapu Lapu City and Ibabao ES in the Municipality of Cordova.
